I can share what makes me super!
Today we had a discussion about how we are all unique and special. We all have special superpowers! Some of us were born with these and some of us learn new powers as we grow older. We read a book called "A Day With No Words." and learned about a special boy who does not speak but communicates through his tablet. He has autism. We talked about how there are many different learners in our class too and it is important to have an understanding that all brains are different and work differently. We drew in our visual journals what one of our super powers are. Some ideas were: being kind, gymnastics, helping my mom when she is sad, cleaning up my toys. Ask me to share with you what I drew today.
